  • This was my first time having an acupuncture session in my entire life, so I wasn't fully sure what to expect. I had a mild chronic pain in my right neck and shoulder area, and a pinched nerve near my right shoulder blade. After two days of my treatment and using the prescribed medication oil, the pain went down quite a bit. I was treated by Dr Qin Yan, she was kind and easy to talk too and even provided information about herself before we started. She showed me which needles she would be using and that they were new and sterilized prior to inserting them. She was receptive to answering any questions or concerns I had about acupuncture before the session. I didn't experience any pain from the needles after and during the session. The only minor downsides I can think of is that she talks slightly fast at times, in addition with her accent, can be hard to understand sometimes. However, this is mostly a problem with me since I have a difficulty hearing out syllables when people speak. regardless of accents. I recommend this clinic and Dr Yan.  --Navarre Simpson.

  • I am generally a skeptic about most things that are new to me. Earlier this year though, I found myself debilitated by back pain. My leg went numb and got so weak I couldn’t safely navigate my house on my own. After a 3 day hospital stay I was released on huge quantities of narcotics and various pain relievers. A family recommended I try acupuncture and since nothing else had helped, I figured I had nothing to lose.  The results were incredible. I had both acupuncture and cupping done over 4 visits and started to notice a difference after the first time. By the end of the 4th appointment, I was pain free and walking normally again. The numbness and weakness took a bit longer to resolve but is now completely gone. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Next time I’m in pain, China Spring will be my first call, rather than my last resort. Thank you so much for the kindness and care. --Dana M.

4. Sciatica / Leg Pain

  • Prior to my 1st appointment, on August 28th, I was experiencing left leg pain for about 18 months, right arm pain for several months, and not getting a good night sleep for several years. I waitress for a living and had been seeing a massage therapist almost weekly, but it only helped briefly. Even after the first acupuncture appointment I felt some relief, but I've now had four sessions and can't believe the difference. The pain is about 90% better, and I'm sleeping better as well. --Angie R. Check our blog for more details.
