China Spring Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine

Actual Patient Reviews about Cancer Support.

Many patients seek acupuncture and herbal medicine as supportive care during or after cancer treatment. These therapies may help relieve symptoms related to cancer therapies, such as fatigue, pain, nausea, stress, sleep difficulties, and overall weakness.

At China Spring Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine, we are grateful for the opportunity to support patients at different stages of their cancer journey. Our goal is to help improve comfort, restore balance, and support overall well-being during recovery.

Below are experiences shared by patients who received supportive care during or after cancer treatment.

  • After 5 weeks I have been diarrhea free! It’s been at least 10 years and I am feeling great. I can eat things (a banana for example) that I could not eat without feeling sick. Dr Qin Yan is a knowledge and compassionate doctor who has also helped me with my hip pain as well. I am very grateful for finding this Doctor.  --Richard & Susan Pauls   Note: See our Bolg Article for More Information.

  • I see Dr. Qin for herbal medicine. I had a cancer diagnosis and was learning a lot about studies related to Chinese medicine. Based on her professional background and experience, Dr. Qin seemed like a great local option. She’s helped me feel great and have positive blood results through treatment. I will be a continued customer and will continue to tell others about her. --Hannah R.

  • Dr. Yan was very helpful and I am so grateful I found her. We are blessed to have a doctor with her high level of education and experience with oriental medicine for cancer guidance. --Barb M.

  • I have more confidence in Dr Qin than in any of the acupuncturists I’ve seen over the decades. She has a bigger perspective than just her acupuncture—she noticed something that she recommended mentioning to my PCP, and she tried a suggestion from my massage therapist that seems to have worked beginning the next day. And as a lung cancer survivor, I value her oncology background.    --Reid J.

  • I am going through chemotherapy, and I decided to try acupuncture to help with my energy and appetite. Since starting acupuncture at China Spring, I have regained my appetite and have the same energy I had prior to starting chemotherapy. My color has come back, and I feel like myself again. I don’t know how I could get through chemo without it. I highly recommend China Spring. --Casey B.

  • Very knowledgeable and helpful for my recovery from neuropathy caused by breast cancer treatments. Very caring. Herbal supplements have been very helpful too. Highly recommend! --Bonnie A.

  • Dr. Yan has been great! My husband and I have been getting treatments for the past 3 months. My husband is recovering from chemo and I have been receiving treatment for hormone balancing. We have had great results. --Jill S.

  • Dr. Yan was so welcoming, sweet, competent and professional. She is trained in Acupuncture and Western medicine- was an Oncology Acupuncturist in China...I had complete trust in her work and it helped me tremendously!  --Carter

  • Dr. Qin is the best health professional my mother and I have seen in Wisconsin. My mother has also gone to every hospital around Madison for respiratory, diabetes and cancer. This is the only doctor I will drive half way across the state for. She truly cares about her patients. --Diane S.

  • Dr. Yan has specialized training as an oncologist which has also been helpful for me. I have received herbs and specific nutrition advice which has led to having more energy and relief of some of the post-chemotherapy stress. --Raandi S.

Cancer journeys are deeply personal, and many patients understandably choose not to publicly share their experiences. We fully respect and honor that privacy.

We are sincerely grateful for the trust our patients place in us during such challenging times. It is a privilege to support them through treatment, recovery, and healing. We feel honored to walk alongside our patients during difficult moments and to celebrate with them when strength and hope return.

To all of our patients who have trusted us with their care, we wish you continued strength, comfort, and good health. -- Qin Yan.
